Why is cotton so important for training pants?

If it isn't cotton, it isn't comfortable. Cotton is a natural fibre — breathable, soft, and gentle against a toddler's skin. Most cheap training pants use polyester, which is essentially plastic: it traps heat, causes sweating, and doesn't feel good to wear all day. Cotton also lets kids feel the sensation of wetness, which is actually the point — that feedback is what helps the brain make the connection and start to learn control.

How do I wash my Snazzi Pants Day Trainers?

Cold or warm machine wash with like colours, inside out. Line dry or tumble dry on a low heat — too much heat will damage the waterproof layer. No bleach, no fabric softener, no ironing, no dry-cleaning. Wash before first use to activate the absorbency. Having two or three pairs on rotation makes wash-day easier.

What sizes do Snazzi Pants Day Trainers come in?

Three sizes: 1–2 years (52–53 cm hips), 2–3 years (53–54 cm hips), and 3–4 years (54–55 cm hips). Age is a rough guide only — measure your child's hips for the best fit. Kids come in all shapes, and a correct fit means better containment and comfort.

Are Snazzi Pants Day Trainers a nappy replacement?

No. They absorb around 120 ml and are designed to contain small accidents during toilet training — not to replace a nappy. If your child is still having regular full accidents, they may not be quite ready for trainers yet. Can training pants replace nappies? 

No. Training pants like Snazzi Pants absorb around 120 ml — enough to contain a small accident — but they are not designed to replace a nappy. They're intended for children who are showing toilet readiness cues and just need a little backup while they're learning. If your child is still having regular full accidents, nappies or night trainers are more appropriate. 

What age should you start toilet training? 

Most children show readiness cues between 18 months and 3 years, though every child is different.
