The Original Bed Pad with Wings: Designed for Kids
Back in 2005, founder Diane wanted a quick solution to changing a wet bed at 2 am. She couldn’t find anything, so created her own. After sewing them herself for friends and family, she founded Brolly Sheets in 2006 and the rest is history.

Why buy a Brolly Sheet?
Brolly sheets are a bed pad with wings, with a 100% cotton top. We have a small ethical factory where the team are paid fairly and go home every night to their families. Unlike many of the larger factories, where the team live onsite.
Why is cotton so important?
If it's not cotton, it's not comfy. Many of our competitors talk of a comfortable sleep surface. That means polyester. Natural, breathable fibres ensure a healthier, more comfortable sleep. Polyester can cause sweating, discomfort and of course, it isn't as good for the planet. If the product doesn't say cotton, it is polyester.
How do I use a Brolly Sheet Bed Pad With Wings?
Just pop the Brolly Sheet on top of your bottom, fitted sheet with the quilted side up, then tuck in the wings to hold in place. Your loved one sleeps on top of the cotton surface. The waterproof layer protects your mattress, they hold up to 2 litres. Once your Brolly Sheet is wet, simply whip off the bed and replace with a clean one. No more stripping the bed!
How do I machine wash my Brolly Sheet?
We designed our Brolly Sheets to be easy to wash - no special treatments needed here. Wash on a warm or cold wash with like colours. A Brolly Sheet dries more quickly on the line than many of our competitor products that use more plastic and polyester. They can be tumble-dried on a low heat. Be careful, too much heat will damage the waterproof backing.

Back in 2006, I was desperate for an easier way to change my daughter Mia’s bed in the middle of the night. She slept in a bottom bunk, and I kept bumping my head while stripping the sheets. So I made the first Brolly Sheet with fabric and waterproofing.
I chose a cotton top because Mia had eczema, and fun colours to make them kid-friendly – Mia even convinced her friends they were “cool.” That was the beginning of my journey creating products that keep kids and adults dry, while looking and feeling great. (Cotton is a must!)
